BioLANCC Usability and GUI Design

The major task of this thesis includes planning, implementing, and testing a BioLANCC usability features such as drag and drop or consistent design guidelines. The goal is to have a guideline for the GUI elements and a reference implementation, where these guidelines are applied. In addition to that the existing BioLANCC GUI has to be adapted according to these guidelines. The reference implementation as well the as improved existing GUI shall have the same functionality as the current GUI. This will be complemented by the new design and implementation of the new presence control functionality within in a single window.
