Design and Implementation of a Web-based Portal and its Backend Functionality for the IFI Reimbursement Process

The aim of this project is to design and implement a prototype of a web-based application for the travel reimbursement process (Abrechnung von Spesenvergütungen) backed by a database. The work consists of the design of a information model, the relational database model for storing reimbursement data, and the new PDF travel reimbursement form. Further functionalities are displaying and inputting reimbursement information, a supervisor’s approval site and the respective financial department’s site, and a technical administrative site. Finally, the web application, which shall handle all IFI-based travel reimbursement information, needs first to be tested in internally at the CSG.
