In Switzerland, current electoral registers are mostly administered in the form of centralized databases or even single files [1]. In this work, proprietary E-Identity solutions [2] should be critically evaluated and contrasted with decentralized approaches [3,4]. The goal of this work is to design and implement a generic approach for a decentralized E-Identity Management applied to Switzerland (e.g. for Electoral Registers).
