This project focuses on the evaluation of the current state of Privacy, its varying definitions across legal standards such as the GDPR, NIST and ENISA, as well as technical standards such as published by IETF and ITU. The aim of this project is to analyze the existing privacy standards and guidelines, compare them against each other and analyze their effect against the personal tracker use case.

Implementations of personal tracker systems include the Apple AirTag and Find My network, the Samsung Smart Tag and the Galaxy Find Network, or Tile and its application-based offline localization network.
