CERTIFY offers IoT stakeholders effective means to achieve robust security. It employs advanced techniques to identify and counter a wide range of attacks through collaborative and decentralized methods. CERTIFY not only validates its approach through cutting-edge use-cases but also paves the way for innovative security solutions across diverse IoT environments.
CERTIFY outlines a comprehensive approach to managing the security lifecycle of IoT systems, encompassing (i) support for security by design, (ii) continuous security assessment and monitoring, (iii) prompt detection, mitigation, and reconfiguration, (iv) secure Over-The-Air (OTA) updating for IoT devices, and (v) ongoing sharing of security information.
The Communication Systems Group CSG of the Department of Informatics IfI at the University of Zurich UZH contributes with their expertise in Blockchain and IoT Security, as well as contributing one of the main validation use cases from a novel artwork tracking perspective. Contributing through the integration of Blockchain to secure communication and novel CERTIFY service supported IoT lifecycle security.
