Exercises

There is a total of 13 exercise sheets for this course. The exercise sheet will be published every Thursday after the exercise session, based on the content of that day's lecture, and must be submitted until the following Wednesday by 23:59 using OLAT. Late submissions will not be accepted.

While submitting the exercise sheets is not mandatory, a 10% exam point bonus will be applied to your final grade if you submit at least 10 out of 13 exercise sheets, of which one must be exercise sheet 13 on the security of Computer Networks and Distributed Systems. 

 In order to receive the bonus, every student has to fulfill the following requirements:

• Preparation and Submission of at least ten exercise sheets during the semester, before their respective deadline. The exercise on "Security" must be addressed by all students wishing to obtain the bonus.
• Each submitted answer for the exercises should be complete and meet a proper level of quality.
• Present solutions, when requested, during the exercise sessions.

The correct answers for the exercises will be discussed during the exercise class. Therefore, individual feedback will not be provided.

The files provided above may only be downloaded from a subnetwork of the University of Zurich's network. Thus, please use a VPN client from the outside. Information on the VPN setup can be found here.
